I’ve been wanting to create this video for a long time, and I’m so glad to finally share it here. Back in the early '90s, when this song was still brand new, I was a bit nervous playing it live for the first time at Mt. Claret Retreat Center in Arizona. I worried someone might call out, “This song is just too long!” Thankfully, no one did. I was relieved then, and soon no longer felt nervous about sharing it. This song remains close to my heart, and it still has the power to transport me—out of time and back to that sacred moment when the woman full of grace began to overflow with grace after her ‘yes.’
When we, too, learn to say ‘yes’ with her, we allow a unique and unrepeatable miracle to take place within us, as distinct as our fingerprints. As you watch the end of this video, I invite you to let God stir a desire within you to be embraced by the Light of the Holy Spirit alongside Mary. Then, close your eyes and imagine being drawn into a glory far beyond what any technology could ever capture.
